Master Trainer: Raj Kumar Paramanathan (Founding Partner of CnetG Asia)

Raj Kumar is the Founding Partner of CnetG Asia and has over 13 years of experience in Executive Search and Selection. His expertise covers client advisory in area of recruitment and talent management strategies across the oil & gas, power generation, engineering & construction, manufacturing, automotive and the MRO sector.

Raj has consulted with international clients and led turnkey projects from feasibility studies, talent review and executive strategy, up to successful operations of these companies in Malaysia. Raj is also deeply passionate about advising entrepreneur-driven organizations in talent strategy and recruitment.

As the Energy Practice Leader, Raj has expertise recruiting for general management, sales and marketing, engineering and project management, commercial and risk management, supply chain and legal positions. Among the clients he has advised are Petronas, Bumi Armada, Petrofac, Alstom Asia Pacific, Technip, Aker Solutions, SR Technics, Huntsman Tioxide, Barry Callebaut, and Unilin.

Raj has a background in project management in power generation and worked with Siemens Power Generation Asia Pacific, prior to starting up CnetG Asia. Raj was part of the consolidation team in Siemens that drove the consolidation of the various Siemens entities into an operational headquarters and subsequent consolidation of resources, through shared services for HR, Finance and IT.

In December 2008, Raj together with Manish, the founders of CnetG Asia, were awarded the Joint 1st Runner Up for the Indian Young Entrepreneur Award. The award was presented by the Human Resource Minister of Malaysia, recognizing the company’s success in the business, contribution to CSR and talent building.
