Professional Career

Nurul is a Chartered Accountant (Australia) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). A graduate from University of Melbourne, she started her career in KPMG Information Risk Management, before moving to PETRONAS Group Internal Audit. She escaped the corporate cage in April 2010, and is currently enjoying her freedom and exciting life as Founder CEO of Thrift Solutions, specializing in Internet Marketing of Holiday Rentals and Entrepreneur Workshops. She also served as Audit Committee of Malaysian Government Officers Cooperative in 2013-2014.

Nurul joined JCI Petaling Jaya in May 2010. She was elected as VP Business 2011, Executive VP & JCI Youth Advisor 2012, President 2013 and now as Immediate Past President 2014. She was recently appointed as 2015 JCI Malaysia National Secretary General.

In JCI, Nurul has won numerous awards including the Most Outstanding Member of JCI PJ and JCI Malaysia in 2012, Most Outstanding Member at JCI Asia Pacific level in 2013 and Most Outstanding Local President of JCI Malaysia in 2013.
