Mr Mark Yong has led and developed teams to deliver key initiatives worth multi-million USD across 50+ countries. His experience spans across leading and implementing change, turning around key initiatives, simplifying business processes and improving performance for managers and teams.

Mark has many successes in delivering return on investment (ROI) and increasing client satisfactions for both SMEs and MNCs. Some of his past successes include:

 Turnaround net loss position within 12 months and grew EBITDA by 230%
 Developed and coached client’s sales team from scratch. In one instance, the team improve their sales effectiveness by 475%
 Workforce and cost optimization where he successfully migrated a regional operation hub from Europe to Asia, completed 40% ahead of schedule and 15% below budget
 Coached customer service manager and resulted 40% increase in frontline sales
 Turnaround a KPI based Performance Driven Culture globally

At the strategic level, Mark works with business owners, C-suite executives, VPs, Directors and other business leaders to address critical business needs. Some of these strategic initiatives include:

 Facilitated global alignment workshop and cost reduction opportunities using lean six sigma approaches to improve client satisfaction, reduce cycle time, improve quality and simplify end-to-end processes

 Facilitated talent management strategies across Asia Pacific, covering target reviews and action plans with country & regional leaders

 Facilitated several senior management retreat sessions to align management teams towards achieving company’s new vision / direction, involving Chairman, President, CEOs and other Senior Management team members

Since 2003 Mark has been conducting training across the globe, such as Malaysia, Australia, India, China, Russia, Spain, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, and various countries using combination of onsite and remote approaches. In 2006, he led the Training Council in his organization to develop a unified training strategy, to innovate training techniques and methodologies to increase training effectiveness and reduce training costs

While working in The Nielsen Company, he was the Associate Director and held numerous regional and global positions covering key global projects & initiatives; Business Process Improvement; Global Innovation, Convergence, Automation and Integration; and Asia Pacific IT.

Currently, he is the General Manager and Managing Consultant of Quest Learning.
